We’re proud to present our latest project.

Fly me, bold sister of the Mov me installation, dares to challenge visitors to take their talents to another level.

This interactive art installation invites all participants to become children again, to recover their innocence and naturalness, to lose the fear to be creative. The piece proposes to convert a trampoline in a tool for creating short visual clips, frame to frame, jump to jump.

Exploring the stopmotion technique from another perspective had never been such an exciting experience.

Fly me installation is part of the Play with me project, a series of installations focused on pushing the creativity of the people to the limit, letting them create audiovisual pieces playing with the stopmotion technique.

We believe that now is the moment to share this project with the world, we have been developing the Stopmotion Installation for a while but we think that now is the moment to start publishing things.

Multitouch Barcelona focused on relationships between people and technology presents an interactive art installation where visitors will be encouraged to bring their creativity to the limit. The piece will be focused on natural interaction: taking advantage of technology in order to make it invisible making things easier and accessible to everybody.

The main idea is an environment where participants are encouraged to make their own audiovisual clip thanks to an intelligent automatic stopmotion machine.

It is known that the creative process behind stopmotion makes ideas quality grow exponentially and engages people into a challenging creative experience.

Nowadays, it is one of the most common techniques in the digital and film industry. The main goal of our proposal is to bring the use of this technique closer to common people.

The Stopmotion Installation was showed in Chile at Sudala Festival and recently at the Pull&Bear Flagship store opening party in Madrid.

In Chile was the first time that we could show this to the masses and was a great experience in front of 3000 people. The people really loved it, as a result of the interaction made in Sudala we made this to share the installation results to the world: Sudala2010.

Then we had the opportunity to show it in Madrid, due to the opening of the Pull&Bear flagship store.

This Stopmotion Installation is a work in progress so we never stop developing new addons for the installation. As is a work in progress we find very interesting always that we could, give the opportunity to try the installation to different people like what we did in the Offf atelier:

WORLD OF LEMON

World of Lemon is the interactive platform-child of a collaboration with the talents behind Lemon Magazine; Kevin Grady, Colin Metcalf and Ayoub Qanir. Our aim was to design a sensible base that would allow for the audience to touch the publication and share a tactile experience beyond the print.

Lemon is positive. In a snark-infested media landscape, lemon appeals to the best in human nature. Content curated through the filter of curiosity and creativity leaves little room for cynicism. Lemon is an antidote to a toxic mindscape.

Hi!

We’re very happy to announce the great success that our little friend has had since his first “hello world”. He appeared in a lot of different sites like Engadget, PSFK, Cpluv, Human Resources, Cnet and CreateDigitalMotion, publications like Idn and had screenings in festivals like Offf, TED Global, Onedotzero and Couch Fest Films, in which he won the prize for the best experimental film.

Thank you for all the good words, we’re working hard training the system to learn new features.

Multitouch Space Invaders XL

Multitouch Space Invaders XL is a remake of one of our most famous installations. This 4×6 meters screen was presented at Offf Oeiras 2009.

Although it took us some sleepless nights the result was worth it!
